The New England Patriot’s newest addition to their offensive line has taken some heat for being a little too large for the position.
However, that’s not the only issue with Elvis Hernandez.
The 6’6″ linebacker has a lot of issues with the way he plays.
The Patriots signed Hernandez in March and immediately started working on him.
Hernandez has been a little inconsistent at times.
He had his best game of the season against the Atlanta Falcons, but he also had some really rough moments.
Hernandez had a big game against the Carolina Panthers, but also had a rough outing against the Dallas Cowboys.
In the end, he only allowed two total pressures and one QB hit.
Holland struggled with his technique at times in the preseason, and he was dropped from the first preseason game.
But he has a great attitude and has shown improvement as a player.
The one thing that’s definitely lacking for him is strength, which Hernandez will need to improve on to become a reliable contributor.
